What is biodiesel?

Biodiesel is a renewable fuel that can be manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats; or recycled restaurant greases. It is a clean burning, safe, and domestically produced fuel that can be used directly in unaltered diesel engines. Biodiesel fuel has been fully tested and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as an alternative fuel and is used by over 600 private and public fleets around the country.

It is safe, biodegradable and reduces air pollutants, such as particulates, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons.
